ArtSonboard also wants to introduce kids to the world of art by organising creative and expressive activities in specially set up teaching laboratories, which range from cartoon painting and animated reading to manual creation and organisation of dress-up parties and collateral activities such as “child make-up”.
The educational paths, which are developed according to different working models, are all aimed at active involvement of the kids in the creative activities. Hence, in addition to learning how to paint by teaching them the various techniques – bearing the kids’s age and their artistic talent in mind – they will get hands-on experience in narration and animated reading with the help of practical game laboratories. From simple reading of a fairy tale, the kids are stimulated to process and create, on paper and in three dimensions, figures of animals, trees, masks, flowers and various other fantasies.
Through their creations the kids thus become the lead players in the fairy tale using the objects and the drawings created during the practical session and end up representing and animating “their” dress-up party.
